A gearless MRL rope lift engineered for smoother rides, longer rope life and safer service.
GLT is an MRL rope lift. A gearless permanent-magnet synchronous machine sits at the top of the shaft, fixed to the guide rails, and drives the car in a 2:1 roping arrangement. It uses 120 mm pulleys with polyurethane-coated ropes. All electrical equipment sits outside the shaft in a slim cabinet above the landing door, so technicians can service and rescue safely from the landing.

The counterweight, arch and motor pulleys are aligned so ropes do not twist — giving a smoother ride and longer rope life.
