Smart space, silent ride, lower energy bills — the entire drive system inside the hoistway.
Brisk MRL elevators place the entire drive system inside the hoistway, freeing up valuable rooftop space and cutting construction costs. Ideal for modern buildings where rooftop space or height restrictions matter.
Compact, gearless, and controlled by a VVVF drive — engineered for smooth vertical travel.
A compact gearless Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor (PMSM) is mounted on the guide rails at the top of the shaft. It drives the car and counterweight through steel wire ropes or coated flat belts. A VVVF (Variable Voltage Variable Frequency) drivecontrols speed smoothly from start to stop. The controller sits in a slim cabinet at the top landing door frame or in the shaft wall, so no separate machine room is needed.
Saves 10–15 sq m of building space and reduces civil work.
No gearbox oil, low noise and up to 40–50% energy savings versus geared machines.
Smooth acceleration, accurate levelling (±5 mm) and lower starting current.
Collective selective operation, fault diagnostics and service logs.
Moves the car to the nearest floor and opens doors during a power failure.
Centre or side opening, with full-height infrared light curtain.
Stainless steel (hairline / mirror / etched), glass, laminate or powder-coated finishes, LED lighting and false ceiling options.
Feeds braking energy back to the building supply.
Overspeed governor with progressive safety gear.
Rope/belt slack and overload sensors with buzzer.
Door interlocks and light curtain obstruction detection.
Emergency alarm, intercom and car emergency light.
Pit and car-top stop switches, buffers at pit.
Optional fire and earthquake operation modes.
Designed to IS 14665 and EN 81-20/50 guidelines.
Residential apartments, commercial offices, hotels, hospitals, malls and mid-rise buildings where rooftop space or height restrictions matter.
